FAQ

Do You offer Karaoke? Yes we do. We handle around 2500 Karaoke files. We are not a full fledged Karaoke Jockey service. But, we do have a number of crowd favorites for those nights when you want to be the entertainment yourself! We will book Karaoke only parties. The rates are flexible, and we try to have a wide selection of titles.

Can I come to see you perform? We welcome you to stop in at any public event we are playing. We cannot invite clients to private events. If you would like to know of events we will be doing, watch our home page for upcoming public events. We try to avoid listing private events on our web site.

Will you preform at Schools and Proms? Yes we will. We do however ask that a "no play" list is given to us prior to the event. We always try to play only appropriate music for school functions. However, it would be possible for a tune to "slip" by us as we also play nightclubs and bars. A simple list with "no rap" or such would be a good start. But, what some administrators and sponsors my find offensive, others may not. It's best that you make clear what you wish for us to play, or not to play.

Will you play at our bar? Without a doubt. We enjoy turning up the energy of our show in clubs and bars! We have, and will continue to play most anywhere you would like. (within reason)

Will you play an outdoor venue? That's where things get tough. We have been offered to play outdoors before. Though we don't mind, there are things to consider. Do you have a plan "B" if it rains. What about power? Digital Music Advantage will not set up and run our equipment on generators. Most generators have plenty stable power for your camper's air conditioner, but not for our equipment.

Your rates seem like a lot for four hours, why? Four hours at your event is what you see. What you don't notice is the hours of prep work involved in doing just a few hours of our show. Setup, teardown, and loading are just part of the additional time. The wear and tear on equipment plus the initial costs and upkeep on it are amazing. Not to mention the costs involved in having a large music library

You have a computerized system. Is it better than CD? We have played music from cassette to CD and now are 100% digital. The reasons that our system sounds as good as it does are many. We have tested and continue to test the latest software for reliability and function. We use high bit rate files, obtained legally. In most cases the sound we produce is every bit as good as CD. It can be better for us for two main reasons.

#1 Instead of spending time looking though CD's, we can focus on your needs and spend more time interacting with you and your guests.

#2 With play list options and pre programing, we are able to make sure you hear what you want to here, and not what you don't. Plus, we can compile requests and get to them faster making your guests feel like they are part of the show.

I haven't heard you name around much, why? We advertise very little to keep our costs down. Digital Music Advantage is a new name. We are the joining of two veteran DJ's with a new generation system and years of experience. Just watch for us at local clubs and bars coming up.
