Reasonable Rates

All Digital Music Advantage rates are based on a four hour time block. If you are booking, or intend to book a wedding of school function which requires MC service the standard additional time is included in our pricing. We have no "hidden" prices. The price you are quoted at the time of booking is the price you pay. If you book before a price increase of any kind, you will receive your quoted price!

We do charge a mileage charge of $.50 per mile for events beyond 30 miles (one way) of Stockton. In other words, if you are 40 miles from Stockton the mileage charge would be $10.00. That's it! No tricky set up charges, or additional MC or phoney charges of any kind! The pricing below is our base rates. And, our basic rates include light show, fog, our full sound system and one DJ (with assistant) or two DJ's depending on the event

We just love to play bars!!! We have an adjustable rate program for bars and clubs. Our standard rate is lowered by $50.00 each if you pre-book two shows. The more shows you book in advance, the more you can save. Visit one of our representatives for more details.

Most events that aren't in a bar, and aren't a wedding or anniversary fall into this category. General gatherings such as Grad bash, after proms, birthdays, graduations ect., are generally indoor events and will still be allotted the four hour time frame. If you are in doubt if your event falls into this category just contact us and we'll be happy to assist you!

For obvious reasons these events involve more planning. Depending on the package purchased, included is meeting with you as often as you need so you are comfortable with the way your event will run, MC service, dinner music (if needed), and suppling our wireless microphones for auctioneers, toasts, and we will be there for you in any way we can feasibly help. We will also help with song selections, and make sure we have those songs ready for your big day! We will do our best to give your guests the best possible time without overshadowing the most important people there -- YOU!!

Price depends on package purchased. Basic setup is our standard sound, and basic lighting system. DMA will work with you to put together a package that will meet your budget. We are happy to play school events. We do request some help in the direction to take with your musical selections. We require a "no play" list before booking such events. The list can be as lengthy or as simple as you like. We at Digital Music Advantage will always try to play only venue appropriate music. However, a no play list is helpful to us as what may be offensive to some administrators may not be to others. We also will not play CD's, Ipods, or other material brought in by students for any reason. This makes it easier for us to keep track of what is being played.

Our New Years Eve rate is our only package with a time block of five hours. These type events are generally more hazardous for us and our equipment than other events. This coupled with the extra time, and the addition of extra games and props makes this a heck of a bash. True outdoor venues are just that, outdoors. The patio of your bar is not necessarily outdoors. A lake party would be. Or, if we were to set up outside of your barn or building for a spring fling, or rodeo. We enjoy these events but they do require us to have coverage for us and our equipment in the event of inclement weather. We also have extra staff to ensure the safety of our DJ's and our equipment. When considering an outdoor even, be sure to have a "plan b" in case the weather takes a turn for the worst.

Just one more! We hear that all the time. A determination will be made by the DJ AND the venue owner/renter if "one more" can be done. Overtime will be based on half hour increments. Only the person/persons who have signed the contract may request overtime. In the past we have allowed the "pass the hat" approach. We will now only honor a request for overtime to be handled by the signing party.

A 25% non refundable retainer is required with a signed contract to ensure your date. The conditions of the retainer are outlined in our contract which is available elsewhere on our web site.
